Stephen's Goals
Stephen wants to make a difference in the world - a BIG difference. He traveled to Calcutta, India last year with his Mum. And what he saw there has changed his life forever. He visited schools and orphanages run by Asian Aid (www.asianaid.org.au), including an eye opening week at a school for blind children.

At least, his eyes were opened! Children there amazed him with their courage, hope, and joy, because they have opportunities that few blind children in India have. These children can write in Braille as fast as anyone can touch-type! Their abilities in mathematics are incredible! He played cricket with the blind children - they can hit the ball by “sound!” Stephen wants to raise money so that those kids can have all the good food they need, along with improved medical care. Since he was there, one girl who was doomed blindness for life has had a corneal graft and now can see! All thanks to some money given for medical help. He wants to help start other schools like this around India where more blind children can enjoy learning. But Stephen sees an even bigger picture. He’d like to raise money each year for children in different needy countries.
